-Purchased an old IO-360-A1B6 that has been sitting for almost 20 years – it has about 680hrs since overhaul & will need to be overhauled
-I plan to do this myself – I will start by tearing it down inspecting parts and sending away for NDI then will preserve parts and store till i’m getting close, that should give me plenty of time to repair and replace what is needed without the massive upfront costs
Then when I get closer I can start to assemble as required
Given the relatively low hours and the fact that it was apparently pickled at removal I’m hoping it’s in good condition internally
