Today I
\nRiveted the HS710\/714 Angles to the HS702 front spar assembly with the four AN426 (Countersunk) rivets, I wasnt happy with the shop head on the -6 rivets which was called out on the plans by van’s so i removed the first one and installed all -5 rivets.<\/p>\n

\nI spent ages trying to understand the attachment of the AN470 (Universal Head) Rivets, the plans call out for the center four rivets to be attached with the flush heads aft, but it doesn’t state how the universal head rivets should be orientated, i couldn’t figure out whether this means that the uni heads should be facing forwards so I left it for the day and asked the question on the Vans Airforce Forums, i’ll see what comes back before i continue<\/p>\n
